Float4 produced and integrated custom content and technology for a series of compelling multimedia installations for a corporate headquarters lobby entrance.
Powered by Realmotion™ technology, five towering vertical LED columns were initially conceptualized By Gensler DXD and seamlessly integrated throughout the lobby entrance, an open air space spanning the 7th and 8th floors of the building.
The show-stopper columns are a mere 1.5mm thick, with pixel dimensions of 960x1080 to 5040 pixels high. Float4 further supported their client in the digital architecture design of the Lobby Digital Columns for which they also created generative ambient content pieces: their color palette and texture are programmed to automatically evolve throughout the day. Depending on the moment of the day, visitors experience a different environment each time they pass through the lobby.
Over 200 iterations of the content were developed and proposed to obtain the perfect pieces that would bring the space to life.
